1st Docs Appt...

Well today was the first docs visit. I calculated that I am 5wks 6 days as of today but when the Doc did the Sonogram he said I am closer the 5 weeks than I am 6. He said a good 4-5 days off. It was a vaginal Sonogram. We saw my Uterus! There was a sack in my uterus! Also there was something faintly showing up inside the sack! He said, that may be the baby but it is just too soon to tell! That's kind of scary but I understand it being too early!
He scheduled me an appt. for August 12, 2 weeks out and said we should know more then!
I asked if it was bad? He said if it was bad, I would most likely be bleeding already. He said if I wanted to think negatively, it could be early Fetal Demise and it could have stopped growing at 5 or so weeks. It's still too early to tell. So he said the Sonogram in 2 weeks will tell if it's grown or not!
I also told him I thought I knew my conception date and he said you never know conception dates based on sex days because you can conceive within 4-5 days after sex! So that could be my 4-5 days off!
I've read a lot of horror stories online & I have also read a lot of positive stuff. Positive such as 5 weeks and a couple days is just to early to have a sonogram and after 6 weeks is better!
I am hoping a praying that it is just what the doctor says and that it's just too early. I'm hoping and praying that it's a sticky bean and it's healthy!
We will see in 2 weeks.
I looked back on early ultrasounds I had of Jakey, and the earliest was 6wks 5 days! So that eased my mind a little.
I am still constipated, I have tons of gas. Lower back pain, headaches, breast tenderness on & off. Abdominal twinges, not quite cramps anymore. I was super nauseated this morning before I ate, then it went away while I ate, then it hit me again and I had to stop eating.
So I still have some pregnancy symptoms so I'm trying not to panic. My friend said as far as we are concerned it is a normal healthy pregnancy, just too soon yet, & not to worry until there is something to worry about!
Until next time...
