2 weeks Ago I had my first vaginal Sonogram and immediately saw the Gestational sac in my uterus right above my bladder and a slight shadow of something in the sac.
The doc said it could be baby but it was too soon to tell. I was at the time, supposedly 5 weeks 6days. He guessed more at 5 weeks..
So Today, my nerve wracking return Sonogram appt. I went in and after searching around for awhile, which was scaring me! He found it. Instead of right on top my bladder, My uterus has already shifted, back and up further. Well low and behold there was a tiny fetal pole/embryo with a heartbeat flicker! My baby is in there with a heartbeat and everything! This mama is relieved for now! Didn't get a heart rate or hear it but we saw the flicker and its strong! Doc said all is good!
CRL measure 0.70mm giving a 6wks 4 days date. I am currently 7wks 5 days. My Due date remains the same March 26th, 2014!
As far as symptoms, I have had headaches, some nausea, just more prominent the last couple days. Heartburn & Insomnia! My breast tenderness comes and goes. I sometimes have dull achey AF type cramps, but I think it's gas and my constipation. Also beautiful symptoms. I also pee a whole lot more than usual. I am hungry hungry hungry! I feel like I have to carb load! I'm tired but not exactly exhausted. I feel pretty good most of the time but with this morning sickness kicking in, I know I'm in for a hell of a ride, & soon!
My doc office gave me some pregnancy swag! A stack of magazines, pamphlets & samples of Similac Prenatal Vitamins. Cool!
I also went for my prenatal lab work up! 8 vials of blood and a urine sample later I was out of there!
Well before today's sono, I was so
Nervous and anxious and scared and had a sense of impending doom and I worried of a missed miscarriage or an impending miscarriage. I would go to the bathroom a hundred times a day & wipe and check for a show! I was stressing myself out. I just needed to know. Now that I have Dr. Verification, I feel so much better. Scary thoughts pushed to back of mind for now! I will try to relax and not stress & enjoy my beautiful pregnancy experience!
I return in 4 weeks for a pregnancy physical!
