The end of another day...

Today was a good day, I love when I have good days. I woke up with a case of the Mondays, but it quickly went away and I fell back into the swing of things. Not too much went wrong.
I did get up and got Madison dressed and ready and sent off to school (Daddy takes her every morning!). Jake was still asleep so I got to lie down for an extra hour, only to be stirred by Jake awakening yelling, "Dad, Dad? Dad." Hes such the daddies boy! He loves the weekends when he gets to spend the days with his dad!
Well got Jake all fed then played around with him, running, hiding, being found and "scaring" him! We love that game! He went down for his morning nap later than usual because the new neighbors upstairs had their stereo blaring in the room above Jake's, it was so loud! Hes down for no longer than 40 minutes and I get him up to go get sister from school.
We get to Madison's school and I think I'm so early, I'm sitting on the planter watching the cafeteria door waiting. No one else is showing up so I wander into the Office and there my daughter is! Today was an early out Monday. So I was 10 minutes late picking her up and another 10 minutes later from sitting & waiting for her. So yes, I received unwanted leers from the ladies in the office, judging me on my neglectful parenting style. Eh, its OK, I wasn't the only one, there was a couple other kids in there too. I hope I don't do it again though, Madi did say she "Waited 7 hours" for me! Ha ha!
After school, we kinda skip homework on Mondays, on account of the weekend just ended & shes been thrust back into the week, we can hold off til Tuesday, or *cough* *cough* Thursday night, either or. Madison and Jakob had a snack and played for a couple hours before Jake going down for his nap and Madi & I heading outside for some sunshine. Jake awoke from his nap and he too came outside and rode his bike & played with Madi & Kaleb for a couple hours. We then ventured back in the house, Jake ate Chicken nuggets for dinner, they took a long, LOUD bath together then Jake went down for bed for the night.
Madison and I went to Pizza Hut to get her Free Personal Pizza from Book-It Reading Goal! That was her dinner, cheesy & tons of olives, mmm just how she likes it! Of course me & Doug had our Take-Out, not too bad, I always enjoy Chili's though.
Madi went and played in her room for another half an hour while Doug and I visited with out neighbors out at our picnic table. That's where we end the day, ranting and raving about the days events, usually enjoying a cup of something from Starbucks. We've become close with our neighbors, it has been a long time since I've met such great people and I am Thankful that they have come into my life!
After Picnic table therapy session, I came back in the house, Madi and I cleaned her room up and picked out clothes for Yellow Day tomorrow at school. (All week is themed in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday! Today was bring a blanket, pillow & your favorite book for Stop, Drop & Read Day!) Then I got Madi tucked in nicely to bed and Read her, her Library book. She picked a good one, about Clifford the Big Red Dog! Kissed and hugged her a million times and turned out the lights.
Threw my load of laundry from the washer to the dryer, ran the trash out to the dumpster and now here I sit. My hubby just turned the kitchen light out on me so I'm assuming its about that time. Bedtime! Good night! Until tomorrow...

So I'm thinking about redecorating my bedroom...  One of these!! Tell me which you like best!

This is Senegal its Wild & Seductive, yet mature and not too young.

This is Doriana, I'm so in love with it. It's just pretty. Too pretty though for a man to sleep in?

Wanna Go For A Ride?

So the hubby bought another, yes I said ANOTHER motorcycle. This time, its a street bike.. Kawasaki somethin' rather. Its purple! He thinks its his, but guess again! ;) I think I might just have to learn to ride! =]

Also, because I let (I say let because he sent me a picture and asked what I thought) him buy the motocycle I told him he could buy it, as long as I got the night off from cooking, (which I cooked dinner for the kids anyways.) got some new eyeglasses, (because I am in desparate need.) and if I could get my hair done! I need it cut badly, & I would like to color & highlight.
So for dinner, I online ordered Chilis ToGo, he won't be excited about the price when he goes in to pay, but we will eat good tonight, & I didn't have to cook it!

To Blog Or Not To Blog...

Is that really the question? I don't think it truly is. It's more of, "How in the world do I blog?" I've never really done this sort of thing before. Although I do update my Facebook status more than once a day, kind of like a 140 character mini spiel of whats going on at the moment, definitely not enough space to say exactly some of the things I'd like to say. That could be a good thing though! Its saved me from rambling, like I am now, it has saved me from embarrassing myself, which I probably will within this blog!

Like I said I've never blogged before, so I hope this isn't a sad excuse for my first blog! I'm very happy that theres a spellcheck! Not that my spellings too horrible, but I don't want to post illiterate, & embarrassing rambles!

"What to make for dinner?" is the million dollar question right now. Last night it was Beef Fajitas, & the night before it was Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Soup. How do I follow up those two winners for a third times a charm dinner? The kids would be happy with Mac& Cheese, but I don't know if that would fill up my grizzly bear of a working man hubby. I'll think of something. Maybe i could get some ideas? I have no followers though.

I'll end this with pictures of my hearts!

My daughter Madison Riley is 5 years old & My son Jakob Ryan is 19 months today actually!

Happy 19 Months Jakey Love!
